The Town of New Castle has officially issued a building permit for the much-anticipated modernization project of the New Castle Fire District No. 1. This initiative aims to enhance firefighting capabilities and ensure the safety of our community.

As part of the preparation for this project, tree removal work is set to commence on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The removal is necessary to clear the site for new construction and to improve access for emergency vehicles.
