On Monday, November 4th, tarps were placed over the soil piles at the construction site to help control dust. The following day, Tuesday, November 5th, Key Construction / East Port further addressed site conditions by spraying water along the area using hoses.

Looking ahead, Key Construction / East Port, with the Town’s permission, plans to utilize a fire hydrant on Memorial Drive to spray additional water across the site. This operation is scheduled to take place later this week, pending the installation of a meter and backflow preventer, which will be obtained from the water department.

Additionally, Triton Construction is awaiting confirmation regarding the delivery of a 500-gallon water truck, which may be scheduled for the end of the week.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the project timeline and any potential impacts to local traffic. For more information visit the NCFD1 district website at ncfd1.org or email the Project Committee at project@ncfd1.org.
